Our Story
The Unattainable Art House is an Organization formally founded by Addly Harrigan. Back in his hometown of Belleville Ontario at the age of 15 he was sitting by the lake at Zwick’s Park and thought to himself: “what if buildings were made of water?”
And after some more thinking about this concept (mostly how it would work in everyday life and a more practical sense he decided to make this vision a reality in the best way he knew how, by taking out his pencil, his sketchbook and his creative brain and drawing it out on a piece of blank paper.
From that point on Addly grew to have a great love/fascination for surreal concepts and imagery, he is intrigued by the concept of blending natural elements in a way in order to create something unnatural. Eventually this led to him creating “The Unattainable Art House '' and creating a home for these unattainable concepts and in the process making them attainable.
Our Goals
We would like to strive to create a space where everyone no matter where they’re from or who they are can talk about their most outlandish
unusual ideas and have them realized. Thinking outside the box is our forte, so we don’t want to illustrate anything you can see with your own eyes or
that can be easily photographed. We hope to one day make this a community endeavor where we will have an actual art house!(to make our name all the more fitting)
This would be a place where people can share strange illustrative ideas with each other (the weirder the better), request an art piece to be made by our business or just sit down to chat and sketch with friends.
Our business believes the strangest and non-realistic concepts are the best kind of ideas, because it involves tapping more into you imagination which is a incredible and completely unique tool
